Arrival in Leh:
Arrive at Leh Airport, where you will be greeted by a representative from the tour company.-
Transfer to your hotel for check-in.

Leh is located at an altitude of around 11,500 feet; so, you will need to acclimatize to avoid altitude sickness.

Take rest and stay hydrated during the day to help your body adjust.

Evening at Leisure:
In the evening, take a stroll around Leh Market. Enjoy the vibrant atmosphere, visit the local shops, and try some local snacks.
Return to your hotel for an early night’s rest. -
Overnight: Stay at your hotel in Leh.

Thiksey Monastery:
Visit the Thiksey Monastery, an impressive Buddhist monastery resembling the Potala Palace of Lhasa. It’s perched on a hill and offers spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. -
Hemis Monastery:
Continue to Hemis Monastery, one of the most famous monasteries in Ladakh. It is known for the Hemis festival, which is celebrated every year, attracting thousands of pilgrims and tourists. -
Shey Palace and Monastery:
After Hemis, visit Shey Palace, the former summer residence of the kings of Ladakh. The monastery houses a giant statue of Shakyamuni Buddha and offers scenic views of Leh. -
Return to Leh:
In the evening, return to Leh.
You can explore Leh Palace and take a short walk to Shanti Stupa for a panoramic view of the town, especially beautiful at sunset. -

Drive to Nubra Valley:
Post breakfast, start your journey to Nubra Valley, which lies about 150 km from Leh.-
En route, you will cross the Khardung La Pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the world (at an altitude of 18,379 feet). Enjoy breathtaking views of the Ladakh range and the Nubra Valley below.

Visit to Diskit Monastery:
Upon reaching Nubra Valley, visit the Diskit Monastery, the largest in the valley, and witness the majestic Maitreya Buddha statue. -
Camel Safari at Hunder Sand Dunes:
In the afternoon, experience a camel safari in the Hunder Sand Dunes (Bactrian camel rides), where you can ride the double-humped camels and enjoy the scenic beauty of the valley. -
Overnight: Stay at a camp or guesthouse in Nubra Valley.

Drive to Pangong Lake:
Post breakfast, drive towards Pangong Lake (approx. 160 km), one of the most famous lakes in Ladakh, known for its stunning blue water and breathtaking backdrop of the mountains.-
Enjoy the scenic drive via the Shyok River road.

You’ll cross several small villages and lush green meadows, along with amazing panoramic views.

Pangong Lake:
Upon arrival, visit the lake and enjoy some leisure time near the water, where you can take a walk or simply enjoy the serene beauty.
The lake, which stretches across India and China, is famous for changing colors as the sun sets. -
Overnight: Stay in tents or guesthouses near Pangong Lake.

Morning: Enjoy the sunrise at Pangong Lake and take a few more photos of this mesmerizing place.

Return to Leh:
After breakfast, begin your return journey to Leh, passing through the Chang La Pass (altitude of 17,590 feet), the third highest motorable pass in the world. -
Leisure Time in Leh:
After reaching Leh, you can visit Leh Palace and stroll around the Leh Market for shopping. If time permits, you may also visit the Hall of Fame or Leh War Memorial. -
Overnight: Stay at your hotel in Leh.

Drive to Tso Moriri:
Post breakfast, depart from Leh and drive towards Tso Moriri Lake (approx. 240 km). Tso Moriri is a high-altitude lake located at 4,595 meters (15,075 feet), surrounded by rugged terrain and mountains. -
Enjoy the Lakeside:
Upon reaching Tso Moriri, enjoy a peaceful afternoon by the lake. It is less crowded than Pangong Lake and offers a serene, picturesque experience. -
Overnight: Stay in a camp or guesthouse near Tso Moriri.

Morning: After breakfast, spend some more time at the lake and enjoy the incredible scenery around you.

Return to Leh:
Drive back to Leh, passing through Sumdo and Chumathang villages. The drive will take about 6-7 hours. -
Evening at Leisure:
Upon returning to Leh, relax at the hotel or take a final stroll around the town. You can buy souvenirs or visit any spots you missed earlier in the trip. -
Overnight: Stay at your hotel in Leh.

It is a great place to shop not too far from New York. We took the bus from Port Authority and traveled through the countryside to get there.

This is the best tour on the east coast! It was amazing how many places we visited and what great memories we made!
